A word about MS CIS
Scott Davis
President
Expeditionary Technical Solutions
"Veterans services helped me navigate the GI Bill bureaucracy, ensuring I obtained my benefits in a timely fashion. Living in one district and attending graduate school in another district proved challenging, however Veterans Services staff helped me work through the issues. Additionally, they reconciled the MSCIS program's unique characteristics with federal government requirements."
Like a large number of MS CIS students, Scott Davis' undergraduate background was outside of IS. In returning to graduate school he sought to obtain academic validation for his professional work experience as a Department of Defense contractor. Scott also was looking for a graduate IS program that would qualify for veterans benefits. With the assistance of SMSU's Veterans Services Office, Scott was able to utilize the GI Bill to complete the MSCIS program.
Missouri State University is approved for certification of students eligible to receive educational assistance (G.I. Bill) from the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA).
