If you have previously completed graduate coursework, you may be able to receive transfer credits. Up to six hours of graduate work can be transferred from another accredited graduate school and applied to the MS CIS program requirements. To be considered for transfer credits the courses generally must be business, computer science or information systems, related to the MS CIS curriculum. Transfer coursework may be applied to either required or special topic courses. All transfer credits must be approved by the program director.
A formal evaluation for transfer credit requires the submission of an official transcript and course description(s) from a graduate catalog/bulletin. If available, the course syllabus and table of contents from the text are also helpful. Requests for transfer credit are handled on a case-by-case basis by the program director. If you have questions regarding possible transfer credits, contact the program director.
