Pursuing a graduate education while working full-time is extremely challenging. The MS CIS Program's curriculum, schedule and delivery format are designed specifically for working IT professionals. The MS CIS Program's combination of limited on-campus residency and distance learning overcome many of the barriers to graduate education. The MS CIS Program is ideal for IT professionals whose geographic location, work schedule or travel requirements prevent them from completing a traditional degree program. The MS CIS Program's unique delivery format provides an extremely efficient and convenient alternative to traditional graduate programs that often require 150-200 trips to campus.
The MS CIS Program offers the best of both traditional classroom education and flexible distance education.

The semester begins with one week of on-campus residency. Next students have a one week break to get caught up at both home and office prior to beginning the distance learning session. This break also provides students with an opportunity to assimilate material that was covered during the oncampus residency.
Following the break, the students have three sequenced classes that each last seven weeks. The second class overlaps both the first and third classes by one week. A five week break follows each semester.
